The Gellers

Last weekend we went to Chicago to celebrate, “The fling before the ring”. It was so much fun. We started the day off on Sat. in Chicago by eating at the Cheesecake Factory. No, we didn’t have cheesecake. That was very hard for me. We ate dessert much later at The Melting Pot. It was very good too. We then headed to Briar Theater to watch The Blue Man Group. It was fun and silly. One of the blue men put his hand on Laurens head and totally freaked her out. We all thought it was funny. On Sunday we woke up to a beautiful day. We began shopping (again). We ate lunch at P.F. Changs. It was very good. We also thought we were so cool because it was the first trip to The American Girl store. Yes, Isabella got a Bitty Baby. She also got the bouncer. I can’t wait to get her all of the accessories. There are a ton. She really wants some clothes to change it into. She currently puts her own clothes on the baby. It is cute. Isabella had so much fun playing dress up today. She came to me with her Minnie Mouse night gown on and asked if she could put her dress up clothes ontop of her night gown. She also picked out the bright green Tinkerbell shoes to go with the outfit. Take a look.

We had an awesome day. We started by going to tumbling and swimming lessons. We then met Aunt Erin at the zoo. Isabella had a great time although she was very tired after such a long day. Aunt Erin even bought her a little elephant purse at the store on the way out. She loves it and is sleeping with it at the moment. She is a little more fearful this year than last. She did brush the goats though. Here are a few pictures from our fun zoo day. Tonight we are headed to some friends house for Cinco De Mayo. Exciting as Isabella would say.
